A Casa de Estremoz is located on a 7.5 hectare estate with cork oaks, centenary olive trees, stone pines, holm oaks and fruit trees.
This diversity of trees ensures that there is always cosy shade in the hot summer months and encourages a diversity of birds and other small animals in their habitat.
A flock of sheep and goats graze freely on site, improving soil fertility and eliminating the need for pesticides.
There are gates separating the grazing land, but you can wander at your leisure throughout the property.
You can pick fruit, herbs and vegetables from the small garden whenever you feel like cooking.
