Cuisine and gastronomy have been at the centre of Casa de Estremoz since its inception.

João Wengorovius, one of the hosts, trained at the Alain Ducasse Training Centre in Paris and is the author of the book “We, Chefs”. He is also a keen observer of the sector, writing, drawing and photographing about it regularly, as well as a keynote speaker who explores the theme of gastronomy as a vehicle for transversal reflection on creativity, authorship and the search for uniqueness.

Hence the well-equipped kitchen with Wolf and Gaggenau ovens, open to the living room. And outside, a wood-burning Ofyr for unforgettable grills, plus plenty of places to choose where you want to have lunch or dinner.
The small garden with aromatic herbs and some vegetables is there for guests to use.
In the wine fridge, in an honesty bar system, you will always have a selection of wines to accompany your dishes.
